Apple iPhone Battery Replacement
Apple recently issued a media statement re iPhone battery replacements. The statement covers a lot of detail about your iPhone battery and is worth reading here
Matilda is of course participating in the iPhone Battery Replacement Program and here are your options:
iPhone Battery Replacement Options
Option 1. Send your iPhone direct to Apple
You can book your battery replacement directly with Apple on their Apple website. In Australia the replacement cost is $39, plus an additional $20 shipping. So the cost is actually $59. You’ll obviously need to then ship the phone to Apple, and wait for the repair and the return of your iPhone.
Option 2. Bring your iPhone into Matilda
Using the same genuine Apple battery we can do your battery replacement in our store (usually the same day once booked in) for only $59 Warranty replacements won’t cost you anything
1. Please back up your iPhone before bringing it in to us. We know your photos and other data are precious so please don’t put those memories at risk
2. Batteries are in high demand at the moment and because we’re using genuine parts there maybe be some constraints on stock availability. Please call us to arrange a time
3. There’s a small chance that you might have a stubborn battery that doesn’t want to come out. It happens rarely, but in those cases Apple REALLY wants us to send the phone to them for battery replacement. If this unlikely event occurs we’ll obviously check with you first to see what you want to do.
